Will it be England v India in the BIG one? | T20 World Cup Daily
2024 T20 World Cup, Day 23.1: England v USA
Despite it being not even eight days ago, it feels an eternity since England were on the brink of being bounced out of this tournament early. Well, they're now the second team qualified for the semi-finals and hitting the best form as we enter the games that matter most. Which isn't to say there wasn't plenty riding on this: not only did Jos Butter's side have to beat the USA, they had to do it quickly... and did they ever, the captain blasting 83 not out to make sure of an early bath. Daniel Norcross saw it all at Kensington Oval in Barbados and he's with Adam Collins.

2024 T20 World Cup, Day 22.2: Australia v Afghanistan After their all-timer in Mumbai at last year's one-day World Cup, and the boycotting of bilateral series, this encounter was always going to have some extra interest. And on a difficult track in St Vincent, Afghanistan showed up to the party ready to dance. Gurbaz and Ibrahim started it, Gulbadin finished it off, but along the way they had t...

2024 T20 World Cup, Day 22.1: India v Bangladesh After a polished performance against Bangladesh, this increasingly feels like the question - can anyone match India when they are close to their best? What’s certain is they have every base covered and are hitting their high notes at just the right time. Adam and Geoff are back together to review the favourites and also to reflect on another poor...

2024 T20 World Cup, Day 21.2: West Indies v USA We have seen signs over the last week that the Windies are emerging as one of the biggest contenders for this World Cup, a suggestion that will grow yet further after becoming the first team to beat up the USA. 2024 T20 World Cup, Day 21.1: England v South Africa It was back to Group 2, for the unbeaten South Africans taking on the newly awakened English. Quinton de Kock was a coaled-up train, but the rest of his heavy hitters found it hard to ride along. Jofra Archer was bad, then great, then better. Harry Brook and Liam Livingstone had the game in their hands, but the breeze kept ruffling those palm...

T20 World Cup Daily, 2024, Day 20.1. India v Afghanistan. Not everything is going easily for India. Rohit and Kohli are having their troubles at the top. Dube isn’t making an impression. Hi I m from india hihi😅
I love Dan but I miss Geoff humour😢
Geoff is in geeyana
Dan's on top shirt detail today too.
@@jimb9063 Geoff is better looking tho, no pun intended 😉
That would be played in the Land of Many Water, Mi Casa! I'll be one Kidney light to attend
1 English team, 2 Asian teams and a Caribbean team...In to the Semis 😊
Aussies panicked when they couldn’t take wickets in first 15 overs
India batting strategy can be summed up as a 7 stage solid fuel 🚀 rocket..each stage of the rocket 🚀 fires (once out) the second stages fires and so on until they reach the intended elliptical orbit (Target)
I never thought I would see americans celebrate a cricket victory, the only reason they are in this tornement is because of host advantage.
Did AFG level up yesterday ?, if not for Maxwell they would have level upped to semis
Not a fan of T20, never was!
We afghan deserve to win the t20 World Cup.because it’s just begging to show the world our talented boys. Don’t forget we gonna produce much better players in future inshallah
No y'all don't y'all need world class batsman to win a world cup
how the hell do you watch this world cup in Australia))
Amazon Prime
Perhaps AUS should have boycotted the game after all. 😉
Well done, Afganistan ! Well-deserved result. Thought they were a bit unders at halfway, but a great bowling display. Now the group is spicy, India get a chance to send Australia home with a thumping victory. Expect them to be up for it. The WC is alive!
Australia have never won an ICC trophy wearing Green
Nice observation
Its no more a shock result . I am a big aussie fan . I watched Aus vs Afg in adelaide oval in 2022 WC. They almost won the match. Almost done in 2023 in mumbai if it was not for maxis 200.
Brilliant analysis as you'd expect from TFW.. I just want to commend the hard work you blokes put in even at the oddest of hours. Must be bloody hard to be excited about talking cricket at the end of a long day. ❤
Why don’t you go and stop the EPL to save the football 😂😂😂
Bharat's analysis always seem boring and generic . Exact opposite of cam ponsonby
I thought Group 1 was supposed to be easy, now India or Aus might get knocked out😂.
It's definitely made this group exciting again
The other group is tougher. WI and SA are both unbeaten like India, and Eng was resurgent. Poor USA is the minnow in that pond.
Australia is afraid of Afghanistan. And Afghanistan is afraid of Glenn Maxwell. But unfortunately, Glenn Maxwell wasn't afraid of Australia to complete the circle and so he didn't take them all the way home.
Geoff used to be completely unbiased a few years back. Now he isn’t much fun
It felt like he was upset. Which is totally ok to be. But no need to hide maybe?
The Aussies got another chance to derail the indians ambitions to be champions by defeating them and see Afghanistan beating Bangladesh and sending India back home If this happens, the final word hosts will once again laugh at the face of the Indians as they did on Nov 19.
Not Happening, Indian Net Run Rate is High
When hatred and delusion are indistinguishable. NRR.
@@TheGohan09 In cricket anything can happen as we have seen in this WC with upsets and don’t ever forget Nov 19th when 99% were sure who will be the winner.
@@3_smh_3 Is India really playing very well not to lose big against Aust? I don’t think so plus the Aussies know they have to win and win big.
@@3_smh_3 By the way, if you were following this channel for very long time, you would have known that the two hosts don’t really like India and lean more towards Pakistan. This is also true to UK channel like Wisden Cricket and most of their ex players like David Lloyd , Mark Butcher etc.
Don't call it a shock because even in 23cup they outplayed Aus. It took once in a lifetime innings to rescue that time. So it doesn't seem as a shock to me at all. Also afg have done very good in most games when they does well in fielding. It's their fielding that has been their Achilles heel most of the time. Today apart from one tiny mistake they fielded well. When they field well AFG are one of the best t20 sides in my eye
Always looking for a reason to be offended are ya?
@@UmpireStrikesBackAlways being condescending to afghanistan
@@UmpireStrikesBack what the fck. Offended. Lol . I am not offended at all. As a cricket fan from a country that is not from any of these two countries I have followed afg team for a while now. And this win isn't a shock for anyone who have followed afg cricket. They just doesn't seem very good in the field and that's their biggest weekness that have been haunting them. I'm just stating facts. Just look at it. Afg has one of the most destructive batting line-ups and arguably one of the best bowling attacks. So them defeating Australia is not much of a shock now.
@@gamerxvc3055 I picked up Cricket again after a long time around Asia Cup 23. It was incredibly surprising how much Afg had improved. Their players are regulars in the IPL teams. Had they not dropped those catches of Maxwell in the WC, they absolutely were beating them.
Normally when the underdog wins it’s fair to call it a shock.
As an England fan I can only say. Have that Josh Hazelwood. What comes around goes around. And I only wish India and Afghanistan the best of luck in knocking you out. Still don’t think we will qualify due to rain in Barbados and the fact West Indies pumped USA but just funny to see Australia loose.
As an Indian fan I really want a world cup without the aussies to be around in semifinals
Damn aussies can't believe losing to Afghanistan & now it's a do or die for mighty aussies against India 😢
Aussies are going to give everything against India, cracker of a match coming up... :)
Nice to see the watch back. 😊
Note that Adam (predictably) writes off the Afghans at the 12 minute mark… the review of Australia’s heavy defeat will make for fun viewing.
Not a lot of people tipping Afghanistan a few hours ago after being smashed their last two games. But yes, the new episode is up! Enjoy.
"Australia will join them in the semi-final". Likely. But not a fait accompli. Not yet.
Maybe not ever, now!
For Australia's sake, you better hope not.
You had me at bangladesh pokemon😂
LEVEL UP
And my grandmother is a better bowler than Bumrah 😂😂😂😂😂
What ?? Next are you going to say SA too is unbeatable?….. hahaha
They're very beatable, just that teams keep on not doing it
@@FinalWordCricketI feel like India's batting has been very feeble as well. When faced with a strong challenge like Australia or England they can't rely on their middle order to bail them out everytime. So they look beatable as well
Shivam dube, opening pair of Rohit and Virat and jadeja are the weak links. If opposition exposes these indian will lose. Period
I'm afraid India will be out in semi or final😅😂
Just when I thought India was unbeatable in the last WC, it lost to Australia in the finals. So, no India is not an unbeatable team but on a given day if everything clicks, then it is. but then which team does not perform well when everything clicks. I am fascinated by the rising star of cricket Afghanistan which defeated Australia yesterday.
Ah that means we already lost this world cup. Got it. Definitely getting knocked out now.
Unbeatable until knockouts
Hard game for USA. I had a feeling at the anthems that we were in for it.
India's best chance of winning a world cup is putting the tenured oldies to the side and building a team of under 30 year olds and bumrah as captain
Sharma and Kohli are not playing well, their approach to batting is negligent. Both should be given a talking to or better still, rested for the Australian game before they embarrass the team any more.
India's Semi final in guyana will be a total washout & in the history of t20 WC's india will be the only team to reach the finals by basically beating 5 minnows & 1 good team.... that's how easy this WC format has been designed for india to break their 10 year trophy jinx.... The planning has been absolutely meticulous
Every single team have had the same equation. Afghanistan Pakistan and Australia are certainly not minnows. Just because Pakistan decided to be Pakistan doesn't mean they aren't a top side. Stop trying to come up with ridiculous reasons to suit ur narrative
CWC 19th November -- When you guys laughed so hard.. I do remember the entire world showed their face, when India lost.. I never trust anyone outsiders who says they support India.
If you’re so concerned about people laughing at India, ask the Indian team to start winning. Nobody laughs at winners.
@@speed0383 The point I tried to make is the title is laughable. India are unbeatable - Is a joke!!! People hype about India to only laugh later at the Knockouts
Wow such a fragile ego. Relax! Its a sport. And that was a stupendous loss. All cricket fans mocks SA for similar thing. Did you see their fans whining on random youtube channels?
We're unbeaten not unbeatable, our team hasn't been tested because all of our games have been against weak teams. Those matches were more like warmups, the real test starts now. We've already got 2 warnings in pak & USA matches. The matches were close which it shouldn't have. Our real WC starts from 24th and even if we beat Aussies in group stage it still means nothing because the team behaves differently in SF & Finals. My expectations are 0 from this team.
India playing like Australia, compare Aug vs Eng scorecard... 🎉🎉🎉🎉 Very unlike top heavy India, refreshing, dangerous 🎉🎉🎉🎉
As an Indian, same old story until or unless we win it
India hasn't played the strong teams yet - Aus, Eng, SA and WI so the unbeaten tag means nothing. To be fair, the top order is rather meek and lacks aggressiveness and the bowling hasn't been put under pressure which you cane expect against the strong teams. My gut feeling is they will lose in semis against a better prepared and more aggressive opponent.
Now it's just a question of whether England, South Africa, West Indies or Australia will beat them in the semis or final. Fear of failure is rife with this team sadly. Come the knockouts these chaps will go into their shell and post 146 on 180 par pitch.
Don’t thnk so ..this team is playing more freely now without any strings …nt the case 2-3 years ago ..last year semi India scored 396 against nz if u remember ..only in the finals they were controlled by sme brilliant bowling frm aus otherwise . Ind wld have scored atleast 280-290 fr sure and wld have won the final ..they were quite free flowing in their game till then
Don't want to watch whole vid but answer is no .. Its tough
Is this pun intended, again? India fail in knockout ICC stages because - I repeat, there is no meritocracy in selection. It is disheartening for knowledgeable fans to see players like Dube playing when they don’t have the skills to counter quality fast bowling! T20 is a game of youngsters, not unfit 35+ players. Nobody is learning any lessons, because let’s face it - it a bunch of corrupt officials running the set up backed up by a bunch of spineless commentators/media persons who will not speak truth to those in power.
